Families are being invited to take a step back in time this Sunday (28th March) by exploring the colourful history of Etruria and discovering the role it’s canal system played in attracting industry to Stoke-on-Trent. Visitors can join Glenn Airey from the Etruria Industrial Museum on the walk which includes a circuit of the Etruria junction leading up to the site of the old Wedgwood factory and on to Etruria Hall and Festival Park.

British Waterways, Rudyard Lake Limited and Rudyard Sailability are pleased to announce that, following a mediation process, all parties have agreed to work together to deliver a new facility for the disabled sailing charity at the lake. City Waterside in Stoke-on-Trent today saw the official opening of a new bridge over the Caldon Canal, the launch of a new [caption id="attachment_4115" align="alignright" width="87" caption="Emma Bridgewater"][/caption] prospectus to attract developers for the next phase of construction and the re-naming of the City Waterside Community Centre. Emma Bridgewater helped local children perform the opening ceremony and spoke of her confidence in the future.
