STORY NOW UPDATED! In a shock announcement this evening, I can confirm that David Jack, the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Stoke-on-Trent, has resigned. Mr Jack has also resigned as Chairman of the Stoke-on-Trent Liberal Democrats. He had cited professional and personal issues as the reason for his decision. But more details are now emerging. Mr Jack is known to be locked in a legal dispute with a number of companies after exposing a story on his Stoke North Liberal Democrats website.

Exclusive Audio Interview Now Online! Stoke-on-Trent Liberal Democrats have today entered a new era with the appointment of David Jack as Chairman of the party. Jack is also the Perspective Parliamentary Candidate for Stoke-0n-Trent North. He takes over from Christine Grocock who retires from the post having served for three years. She will now revert to the role of Vice-Chair. Paul Billington will takes on the responsibility for press and media.
