working class



Being black or Asian in the UK no longer means you will be automatically disadvantaged, Communities Secretary John Denham has said. Well, as a member of a minority group, I'm bloody pleased to hear it. I can hang up my writing gloves (After this blog Post). I can stop worrying about my childs future because racism is totally dead and the world (well Britain at least now totally works on a meritocratic system).


I have been chastised on this site for being anti working class. That in itself is utter twaddle. When I was a bit younger I was a working class through and through, I loved working class culture and its ways.

A run-down retail block in one of Stoke's forgotten communities is about to be rejuvenated in a £7 million project.
