Great speech by Tristram.

Great speech by Tristram. Let's move forward and put this embarrassing episode, where the BNP wrongly laid claim to our City, firmly behind us.

This is God's Country and my faith in and love of it's people have been totally restored today.

Proud? why for not having

Proud? why for not having guts to move to something new, at National level will care to Tories have any desire to invest, and why should national labour invest in SAFE seats let the Quangos at arms length do as they will.

Is moving to something new

Is moving to something new always courageous Ian?

Or can it sometimes be ill judged and reckless?

Not having the "guts" to move

Not having the "guts" to move to something new?
fat lot YOU know,
I will tell you about "gut" and "trying something new"
once at the tender age of 26 way back in 1979, I sick and tired of my father banging on about being proud to be "working class" and never voting Tory, I got tired of being TOLD who to vote for "this is a labour house if you live here you vote labour" I got tired of the strikes in the winter of discontent I got sick of the "old fashioned fuddy duddy" working men who all seemed to know nothing of politics, and just voted Labour because their dads did and that's how it was,
I was "young" I was looking to the future I wanted nothing to do with these old fossils,
so I voted Tory,(you didn't know my father, OR how much guts THAT took)
as I said I was young and foolish, I learned the HARD way,
18 years of factory after factory closing down 18 years of long time on the dole, short time in work, dole, work, dole, work,
being treated like a criminal for being poor and not being ABLE to pay my poll tax, being called "the enemy within"

NEVER EVER AGAIN will I vote Tory, EXCEPT, in the unlikely event that it was the ONLY way to stop the BNP
